I offer online and in-person group fitness classes for me and my friends. And guess what? I don’t charge for my classes. That’s right, everything is on a “pay-what-you-can” basis, so you never have to miss a class. Weekly schedules are customized with comprehensive workouts targeted to meet each of our fitness needs.

About me

Oh hi, I’m Dana, and I’m your instructor; just a girl who lives in Brooklyn with her guy and two fluffy cats. I have been teaching fitness for a long time, and I also really like animals a lot (especially cats). If you prefer reading bios in the third-person, please read on…


Dana Leigh Snyder is a certified national fitness instructor. She holds a certificate in Exercise Physiology from Stanford University (extension), a certificate in Plant-Based Nutrition from Cornell (extension), a BA in dance from UC Davis, an MFA from the New School, and is trained in Active Isolated Stretch. Dana has been teaching in NYC since 2008.

Originally from Sacramento, Dana studied under artists and fitness professionals such as Pepper Von (dancer and National Aerobic Fitness Champion), Lea Anderson (artistic director of The Cholmondeleys and The Featherstonehaughs), and Bobbi Wynn Bolden (professor of Theatre, Dance). She has her own children’s modern dance and physical theatre program called URBAN WILDLIFE ARTS; is an instructor and current Director of Drama at Salvatore Larussa Dance Theatre Academy; a teaching artist at Village Community School and Columbia Grammar School; and offers one-on-one assisted stretching at Stretch*d NYC.
